Description
Qt 6.8.1 MinGW binaries installed, configure and compile example
\multimedia\audiorecorder
"File container/Audio Codec: FLAC": Doesn't start recording. Bottom log text gives "Cannot start writing the stream"
"File Container: Windows Media audio":
"Audio Codec":
"FLAC": Doesn't save audio, record length correct but no audio.
"E-AC3": Doesn't open when trying with VLC, possible corrupted audio codec on file.
"MP3": Doesn't open on VLC or Windows media player, saves only 506 bytes on 5 second record.
"File Container: MPEG-4 Audio":
"Audio Codec":
"MP3": Doesn't open on VLC or Windows media player, saves only couple hundred bytes on couple second record.
"ALAC": Doesn't open on VLC
"File Container/Audio Codec: AAC":
Saves file but cannot open on VLC or Windows mediaplayer.
"File container/Audio Codec: MP3":
Doesn't open on VLC or Windows media player, saves only couple hundred bytes on couple second record.
Other things:
When selecting a custom save location and name, repeated records just overwrite the file without warning.
"Sample rate:" adjusting with a mouse changes by digit. There are couple standard sample rate sizes(44.1k, 48k) and they should probably be in dropdown menu. Custom sample rate could be possible with buttons.
"Audio Level:" meter doesn´t show anything.
Is "Constant Quality:" bit depth? If so, shouldn't that be clear?
