It would be nice to add rotation support to the map (http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qml-qtlocation-map.html) so that the map is rotated with reference to the north pole. Acompanied with this the map should also have a compass indicator which shows the rotation (and set the map to north again if pressed).

A possible use case of map rotation is routing where the map is always rotated in such a way that the next driving direction points to the top of the display.
