Blank white screen (not responding) opening applications which use QT

Yea - this is way out of my depth/above my paygrade.

I apologize if this is minimally helpful, however this issue has popped up some time ago seemingly out of nowhere and now that I have found a 2nd application affected in the same way (which also uses QT) its fair to presume the root of the issue lay there. 

Both Synergy 2 from https://symless.com/synergy and SimulationCraft from http://www.simulationcraft.org/ are affected.

Upon opening either application, I get a blank white screen which will not respond until forced closed.  I was able to marginally narrow down the issue by moving the nonresponding window to another monitor.  When opened on the "other" monitor, they open properly.  It seemingly only happens on my accessory display.   Its odd due to said monitor running off the same GPU. 

The only thing I can add is the "affected" display is not set as my primary, however I do have the taskbar moved over to it.  It could potentially be related to other applications I have running and said applications having hardware acceleration enabled perhaps?  I havent had a chance to test, but not holding my breath.

Ill attach my sysinfo/dxdiag in hopes that theyre helpful.  If theres anything else I can provide, please let me know. 

So far these are the only two applications I use which present the issue, but if i end up using anything else that funtions around QT in the future, I obviously would prefer to not run into it.  

As i said it popped up on its own at some point, so im unsure if its related to a windows update relative to my specific windows config or what.
