Notch support for mobile platforms

      The use of notches - part of the screen without pixels due to camera, speaker, microphone, etc. - increases in modern smartphones. Qt should take care of this, in order to allow developers to rest assured that the GUI is working well and that input components (buttons, etc.) are kept away from these areas.

      Currently, the only combination where this works well is for Widgets on iOS.

       

      Support should also be implemented for:

      • Qt Quick on iOS
      • Widgets on Android
      • Qt Quick on Android
