Node rotations should be using a Quaternion

      Description

      Right now the both the front end and backends are using Euler angles as well as rotation order to specify the rotation of a Node.  This is not great for many reasons.  Instead we should be using a Quaternion on the front-end and back-end and and just have a convenience API for specifying rotations using Euler angles.
