QBSP QA "Phase" Stories status and next steps for 1H2021 [Spike]

Who:

As Manager I want to know what we have ready and what we need to do to provide test specification and automated test bench for HW target vendor to verify QBSP (Qt Board Support Package)

What:

Since 6.0 HW vendors can deliver their QBSP to Qt for distribution, see https://doc.qt.io/QtForDeviceCreation-6.0/b2qt-qbsp-overview.html

We want to provide to vendors test specification and test bench so they can verify their QBSP before the delivery.

Why:

Work had been started earlier, but the overall status is not known at the moment. Idea is to write it down to this ticket so the work can be re-started in 2021.

Definition of Done:

Create under this story description of the status.

• What test cases we have on TestRail that can be used for QBSP verification? 
• Who can access the test cases on TestRail? Can HW vendors like Toradex access to those? Or NXP or ST?
• What (if any) automated test cases we have at the moment for QBSP verication?
  • What existing test cases we could use for it?
  • What test cases we would need to develop for it?
• How we could deliver the test bench to vendors and how they could access it without altering it?
