Move Qt Quick Popups into Qt Quick framework

    • Qt Quick Popup Redesign

    Description

      Popups today live in Qt Quick Controls rather than in Qt Quick, which makes it difficult and fragile to implement the special event handling required for modality, menu closure, grabbing etc.

      By moving Qt Quick popup logic into the Qt Quick framework in qtdeclarative, a lot of code could become simpler and less error prone.
