Add "alien widget" support for MacOS/X

    Description

      It would be very helpful if Alien Widgets were enabled under MacOS/X, in addition to X11 and Windows. My application uses lots of widgets, and it currently runs quite well under Linux and Windows, but is subject to various cocoa/carbon related slowdowns under MacOS/X, many of which could presumably be avoided if Qt was handling the widget hierarchy itself rather than exporting every widget out to Cocoa for individual handling.
