Move the mouse away from Qt Creator. Using only the arrow keys + shift try to select something. Nothing selects. Holding down the shift key + arrows seems to select based on where the mouse cursor is with no regard to the arrow keys. Arrow keys, specifically up and down should move up the selection by one line.
