Description
When I try and select text in the Editor using Shift+Arrow key (e.g. arrow key down to select a line, right to select a character, up to select the line above etc.), the mouse cursor is moved in that direction, then back again, and then the selection based on where the mouse cursor is. When I try moving the mouse away from the Qt Creator window, no selection takes place at all.
This is something that has happened recently but not aware of changing any settings, I have tried the following:
-Closing/restarting Qt Creator
-Upgrading to 3.2.1
-Uninstalling/reinstalling Qt Creator
-Uninstalling, clearing registry of QtProject entries, reinstalling
-Restarting computer
None of which seem to have any effect.
I notice this is a similar issue to this QTCREATORBUG-13085, but for me affects different versions of Qt Creator, and running a different version of Windows.
I notice that this only affects the standalone arrow keys - when using the arrow keys on the number pad (e.g. 8 for up, 2 for down etc.), it behaves normally.
It is worth noting that this only affects QtCreator, trying other text editors (e.g. Notepad, Notepad++, MS Word etc.) they are all behaving normally, so if it is a problem with my computer's settings it is only affecting how it interacts with QtCreator
