Qt Creator 4.6.0-rc1
-
None
-
Ubuntu 17.10 64 bit
Description
- Have Qt installed from Ubuntu's repositories.
- Start Creator with empty settings, e.g. by passing the parameter -settingspath <empty directory>.
- Open "Tools" -> "Options..." -> "Build & Run" -> "Kits".
- Select the one configured kit.
It was created automatically and uses the Qt version from Ubuntu's repository. For the crash it probably doesn't matter where that Qt came from, as long as this one kit exists. - Click into the kit's "Name" edit.
- In that edit, click the "A->B" icon on the right.
The list of variables is shown. - Close the list of variables.
Opening it was only needed to have "Qt:Version" available in step 14. - Go to "Qt versions" tab.
- Remove all Qt versions and click "Apply".
- Go to "Kits" tab.
- Select the one configured kit.
- Click into the kit's "Name" edit.
- In that edit, click the "A->B" icon on the right.
- In the list of variables, click "Qt:Version".
Creator crashes.
