Crash at startup when reading custom diagnostic configurations

      I just updated from QtCreator 4.8 to 4.12.

      Now QtCreator crashes on startup. When restarting, it shows the following error: 

      It looks like Qt Creator closed because of a problem with the "CppTools" plugin.

      If I disable the suggested plugins, QtCreator starts, but I cannot open my projects.
