Ability to hide the global menu is missing

    Description

      Sometimes you might want to hide the global menu. Most actions can be done via shortcuts and you might need the vertical space which is always being used by the menu bar.

      Kate is having the ability to hide the global menu. The action has a shortcut sequence Ctrl + M.
