Description
Currently Qt Creator is wasting vertical space by always showing the application menu. See https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-29498 for having the ability to hide it.
This is how Qt Creator 11 looks like this:
Other IDEs are using the Window title bar space for the menu. Here is VSCode:
