Temporary editors show green bar in the left margin

    Description

      This is a regression since 2.2.

      Temporary editors opened to show for example the 'diff' and 'annotate' output from Perforce commands (I haven't checked other VCS) now show a green bar in the left margin (indicating saved changes). This is wrong.
