      VirtIO gives significant performance advantages over current implementations.

      To achieve this, we need to recreate all tier1 images with virtio drivers installed, we need to modify the launch scripts in OpenNebula to accommodate the new images with different launch parameters, and finally we need support in Coin so that Coin knows when to do the same thing as OpenNebula does when launching with new parameters.
