Qt 5.6 based app not running on Windows 7 - missing api-ms-win-shcore-scaling-l1-1-1.dll

We recently upgraded our app to build against the release version of Qt 5.6 and after installing will no longer run on Windows 7. I have tested on systems with fresh installs of Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, but 7 is the only affected OS. The specific error is 'The program cannot start because api-ms-win-shcore-scaling-l1-1-1.dll is missing' I can PM soneone an installer for the application if it would help you reproduce and debug the issue. Please let me know if you have any insights
