Module Migration for Qt 6.2

      The initial 6.0 release focused on the essential and a selected amount of modules to allow for better feature development and quality.

       

      For upcoming Qt releases, further modules will be ported from Qt 5 to the Qt 6 release. This incorporates multiple steps:

      • Switch the build system to CMake
      • Adapt to performance enhancements in the essential modules
      • Adapt to new property system for best utilization in- and outside of QML
      • (Where applicable,) implement new features

       

      Each module will be tracked in a separate issue listed below. This Epic provides an overview of the overall ongoing effort for the 6.2 release.
