Description
Due to a short period of not fully utilized developer capacity, the Android plugin team started to implement a user interface for editing the xml code of an AndroidManifest.xml. So, that developers would not have to write xml by hand.
While the Android platform evolved along with the requirements for AndroidManifest.xml, the UI in Qt Creator kept losing touch with the progress. In its current state the editor might cause more trouble than value for the user (and for the maintainer).
This task lists up the tasks which document the accumulated technical debt with the AndroidManifest.xml editor UI. Discussions in the comments is welcome.
